SARASOTA, FL — The Panthers came ready to compete in a rivalry matchup against The Classical Academy of Sarasota on their Senior Night and emerged with a big 28-8 road win on Friday night.

Offensively, freshman Cohen Fuller had a huge night, finishing with 185 rushing yards on 17 carries and 2 touchdowns, while adding 70 receiving yards and another touchdown through the air. Senior quarterback Holland Hume went 12-for-17 passing for 136 yards and a touchdown, adding two successful 2-point conversion passes. Hume also surpassed 2,000 passing yards for the second consecutive season, finishing the regular season with an impressive 2,072 passing yards!

Sr. Zach Feikema contributed six catches for 66 yards, a 2-point conversion reception, and a rushing touchdown. Jack Wells also came through with a 2-point conversion reception and recorded 2 interceptions, helping the Panthers capitalize on key opportunities and make big plays defensively.

The Panther offensive line deserves major praise for creating running lanes, protecting the quarterback, and helping the offense stay in rhythm throughout the night. The defensive line and entire defense were just as impressive, applying pressure, forcing turnovers, and delivering big hits that changed the momentum of the game. The Panthers played physical, aggressive, fundamental football in one of the best overall performances of the season.

BCS (7-3) entered the game ranked 10th in the SSAA power rankings and need a top eight finish to host a first round playoff game. Rankings are expected to come out over the weekend.
